Who we are:
FOTS (Friends of the School)
FOTS are a group of parents/careers that organise events to raise money for the children of the school.
We are a friendly group that arrange and host a number of fundraisers whilst creating events for everyone to join in. Examples include: fairs, school discos, and many raffles!
Monies raised help fund events, activities and resources that are not covered by the school budget. This enhances the school experience and provides extra opportunities for our young ones. Please see our newsletters for more information.

Past and Future Events
Over the academic year, FOTS organise a variety of events to raise money. For example:
- School discos
- Christmas Fair
- Christmas Hamper Raffle
- Refreshments at school events
- Raffles at school performances
- Easter Hampers Raffle
- Easter Trails
- Break the Rules Day
- Sports Day refreshments
- Summer Fair
- Frozen Fridays
Money Raised
While we are busy raising funds, we also spend it too, some examples include:
- Coaches for school trips
- Stage lighting (part funded through a grant from Skelmanthorpe Liberals)
- Class Christmas gifts that would help and benefit learning in the classroom
- End of term treats for all pupils
- Coaches and treats for the Pantomime trip
- Leavers hoodies for Year 5 leavers
- Tablets for classroom learning
We are always looking for more people to join the FOTS. A fresh injection of ideas is always welcome!
