Here you will find more information about our remote learning plan; it has been put together with our pupils and families in mind, having worked with parents and pupils to adapt what was provided during lockdown(s) and bubble closures. We have ensured that pupils are accessing a more comprehensive and formal education, whilst also providing a balance between learning and mental health and emotional well-being. There is a government expectation that all pupils should access learning at home, for a minimum of 3 hours in KS1 and 4 hours in KS2 and to facilitate this we provide parents with a daily timetable and handy guide to getting the most out of remote learning, as well as preparing your child for this.
In the event of any further lockdown, children will be provided with live and pre-recorded lessons by their teacher for maths, English and foundation subjects, as well as a range of activities from on-line links (detailed below). Our chosen learning platform to deliver this is Google - your child will be provided with a school email and password, that will enable them to register and access the suite of online tools needed to join the lessons and complete work set.
For further information please refer to our Remote Learning Contingency plan below. We have also highlighted useful websites that you can access should your child be at home.
