At Skelmanthorpe Academy, we aim to educate and nurture every child, ensuring they acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes to be successful in the future. A great team of dedicated and hard-working teachers, and support staff strive to ensure that your children have the best educational experience that they can possibly have.

We strongly believe that it is only by working in partnership with parents that we can provide the combination of challenge, support, encouragement and praise that will ensure that all our pupils fulfill their potential. We are lucky enough to have good support from many parents in school and our parent group, FOTS, work closely with school and many events are organised that draw the whole school family together as often as possible

We are committed to ensuring the best possible care and education for our children and we are continually looking for ways to improve and develop what we do, in order to make our school the best it can possibly be.
